About me

As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW), I am a qualified therapist who uses a variety of approaches to best meet my client’s needs. Building a therapeutic relationship in which a client feels safe, heard and understood is pivotal to helping them achieve their goals.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Social Work from Monash University, alongside a Master of Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Greenwich (London). I continue to expand on my skills and knowledge through ongoing professional development.

I began counselling clients in 2008, and have experience working with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Bereavement
  • Cultural displacement
  • Health issues, particularly chronic pain
  • Family dynamics issues
  • Attachment issues
  • Relationships
  • Stress
  • Identity issues
  • Neurodiversity

I have previously worked for charitable organisations, in schools and in private practice providing both short and long term counselling. This experience has allowed me to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and develop strong working relationships with my clients.

I welcome children, adolescents and young adults into my therapy space. Support and psychoeducation for parents of neurodiverse children is also something which can be offered.
